I didnt realise when I watched this movie that this was totally unedited .pretty amazing stuff.
sascha (12/4/2007 @ 1:50 pm)
awsome!!! & sexy :)
Rosan (1/6/2008 @ 6:46 pm)
This is from the movie Ong-Bak, NOT The Protector. The title seems to suggest that they\'re the same movie, but the Protector is the sequel to this. Anyways, great scene and Tony Jaa is amazing.
Janna (1/6/2008 @ 7:23 pm)
Actually, this IS from the Protector. Not Ong-Bak.

He finds people eating endangered animals and he\'s looking for his pet elephant, in this scene.
Matt (1/7/2008 @ 8:03 am)
Its the Protector. And it actually has nothing to do with Ong Bak. The only similarity is that Tony Jaa is in both of them.
Grant Hutchins (1/7/2008 @ 10:29 am)
There are several opportunity for edits in this take. Most likely several takes were spliced together strategically to make it appear completely fluid. Computers help as well, of course.
Josh (1/7/2008 @ 4:18 pm)
As far as i know they really did do this un edited. That is what i have heard anyway
leifen (1/8/2008 @ 6:54 pm)
The name of this film is as follows:
Honour of the Dragon (Europe: English title)
Ong Bak 2 (Thailand: Thai title) (working title)
The Protector (USA)
Warrior King (UK)

It\'s not a sequal to Ong-bak but is directed by the same director, Prachya Pinkaew, and of cource Tony Jaa plays the lead caracter in both.
leifen (1/8/2008 @ 6:57 pm)
Oh, i forgot, the original name for the released film in Thailand is Tom Yam Goong (spicy shrimp soup)...
sunny (1/8/2008 @ 9:59 pm)
hey Rosan check ur facts. this is the Protector. in this scene he\'s looking for the baby elephant. in Ong-Bak he\'s looking for the head of a relic from his village.
stu (1/9/2008 @ 4:22 am)
This is not unedited. It is uncut. I\'m fairly sure that they did some editing in Post Production to create the correct noises and light levels. Get it right.
Hunter (1/9/2008 @ 7:33 am)
Yeah, listen to STU, its uncut, not unedited. The Dude and Hillary Clinton could take on Chuck Norris and Mike Huckabee\'s arse\'s! GIGS UP CHUCK, THIS IS SPPPPAAARRTTTAAAAAAA!
Paul (1/9/2008 @ 11:17 am)
Newfag is new. [see above]
Lee (1/11/2008 @ 6:36 pm)
yes, the movies real name is Tom Yum Goong.
the main actor is Tony Jaa, and he kicks ass!
he does mixed martial arts, and all of the stunts in his movies are real.
notice in this entire clip, the camera doesnt even once change
to me...tony kicks jackie chan and jet li\'s asses anytime!

Added sounds effects doesn\'t mean the video is edited, and that\'s the amazing part. Quit trying to be such a negative nancy.
chicken (1/19/2008 @ 6:41 pm)
its not 100% unedited. there were sum very minor details that needed attention. when tony jaa slams the door on the guys face about a third of the way in the glass didnt shatter, so they had to add that in later on.
Will (1/19/2008 @ 7:41 pm)
This actually isnt the longest unedited shot. The longest is in Children of Men and is over 6 minutes long, when Clive Owen is running after Eve through the refugee camp
joe (5/15/2008 @ 10:13 am)
its pretty fucking sweet how when he throws the guy from like the 3rd floor they obviously had something to catch the guy, then later they show back down and you see dudes laying all over the floor.
joe (5/15/2008 @ 10:20 am)
420!
joe (5/15/2008 @ 10:21 am)
sorry, i\'m really bored.
Jeff (5/15/2008 @ 7:12 pm)
Will, it says that it\'s the longest unedited martial arts shot. Only Bruce Lee could do martial arts straight for 6 minutes.

Those are the most hardcore stuntmen I\'ve seen in a long time.
Jeff (5/15/2008 @ 7:15 pm)
Oh, and by the way Will. You are still wrong about the longest unedited shot. Try the \"Russian Ark\" by Sokurov. The entire film is one 99 min shot.
Nick Gleichman (5/23/2008 @ 5:04 pm)
I\'m not one to comment on these things, but I just have to say something to the person who posted this:

You are the definition of a moron. Your three-sentence comment is so riddled with errors, it makes my brain hurt. This scene is NOT from the Original Ong Bak- this IS from the second one (The Protector), which as someone pointed out, is not even a sequel, more like a remake, same exact story.

Why would you open your dumb mouth if you have no clue what you are talking about!?
